The Wolf River apple is a true Wisconsin heirloom, famous for its impressive size (often weighing nearly 3 pounds and as big as a grapefruit!) and rich baking flavor. These giant apples have a mildly tart, old-fashioned taste and a tender texture that transforms beautifully in pies, crisps, and sauces.
